The New Mexico Department of Public Safety publishes crime statistics of all counties in the state. In 2019, it reported that Taos County had a total number of 734 crimes. Where and How to Get Taos County Death Records?

The New Mexico Department of Health issues copies of records of deaths that happened in Taos County. These death records are accessible only to the decedent person’s family members and legal representatives.
