How to Look Up San Juan County Property Records

The office of the San Juan County Assessor maintains an online property database search tool that allows users access to details of current property ownership within the county. Users can either use the basic, advanced, or combined search to find property information on the site. Thus they can conduct searches on the platform by providing one or more pieces of information about the requested account. For example, if they know the property owner's name, they can enter it into the Name field. If they know the situs address, they may also enter it. The more data entered, the more intensive the search results they can obtain. People can search the platform using the:

  • Account number
  • Parcel number
  • Business name
  • Situs Address
  • Legal Description
  • City or Zip Code
  • Mobile serial and title
  • Tract Legal

People can also conduct Normal or Advanced Searches. A Normal search searches for a name in the order the name is entered while advanced searches operate like an Internet search engine where the order of the words is inconsequential.

Upon a successful search, the following data are made available to requesters:

  • Account Summary
  • General Account Detail
  • Owner Information
  • Assessment History
  • Tax History
  • Estimate Taxes

To start a new search, requesters may have to click the “Clear Search button”.
